With the TONEX BOARD, IK Multimedia expands the TONEX series with a powerful all-in-one processor for guitar and bass. The compact floorboard combines AI-powered TONEX technology with extensive effects and routing functions from the AmpliTube ecosystem, making it equally suitable for the stage, studio and home recording.
The TONEX BOARD is fully compatible with TONEX AI Tone Models and allows up to four Tone Models to be used simultaneously within a preset. In addition, more than 70 integrated AmpliTube effects are available. Up to twelve freely assignable effect slots, including splitters and mixers, enable complex effect chains as well as stereo and parallel routing.
For live use, the board offers Preset, Scene and Stomp modes. Depending on the application, it can be used for quick preset changes, different scenes within a sound or traditional individual effect control. The internal routing also supports sophisticated stereo and parallel setups.
Operation is handled via a high-resolution 5" color touchscreen combined with five endless encoders. Up to 1,400 presets can be organized into twelve setlists. ToneNET provides access to more than 60,000 Tone Models, while a custom IR loader and IK's VIR Cabinet technology provide additional options for speaker simulation.
The TONEX BOARD also offers an extensive selection of connections. In addition to stereo inputs and outputs, it features a flexible stereo FX loop, MIDI, two expression/control inputs, a headphone output and USB-C. The integrated 4-In/2-Out USB audio interface operates at up to 24-bit / 192 kHz, making the board a versatile recording hub as well.
