Rotary Magic
Originally developed in the 1940s for organs, rotary speakers use motor-driven rotating parts to create fascinating modulation effects. This signature sound became essential for combo organs and has also been used by guitarists and other musicians to add depth, movement, and expression to iconic recordings.
Authentic Playing Feel
Classic rotary speaker designs feature a rotating horn (treble rotor) and a bass driver with a spinning drum (bass rotor). The RT-2 faithfully reproduces this behavior – including dual speed control, rise/fall time adjustment, and colorful LED visualization of rotor movement.
Vintage Saturation & Sound Balance
Inspired by tube amp circuits, the Drive knob on the RT-2 allows smooth saturation control – from light crunch to rich overdrive. Alternatively, it can adjust the volume balance between treble and bass rotors. Settings for Drive and Balance are saved automatically.
Three Versatile Modes
- Mode I: Authentic reproduction of the most famous rotary speaker – ideal for guitar, bass, organ, electric piano, and synths.
- Mode II: Classic rotary tone with extended frequency range, excellent with overdrive/distortion pedals.
