4-fach Kompressor/Limiter mit einfacher Bedienung und präzisen Klang. Der dbx 1046 ist äußerst wirkungsvoll und optimal für Bühne und Studio.  


Der Vierfach-Kompressor dbx 1046 bietet vier voneinander unabhängige Kompressoren mit zusätzlichen PeakStopPlus Limitern auf nur einer Höheneinheit und eignet sich für Bühne und Studio gleichermassen. Das Herz jedes Kompressors besteht aus dem neu entwickelten V2 VCA und garantiert hohe Präzision bei sehr niedrigem Klirrfaktor und minimalstem Rauschverhalten. Die Bedienung ist einfach und intuitiv.  

Die Ein- und Ausgänge sind als XLR- und Stereo-Klinkenbuchsen jeweils symmetrisch ausgeführt.Die Pegelverhältnisse lassen sich zwischen - 10 dBV und + 4 dBu umschalten. Die Anzeige des Eingangs- bzw. Ausgangspegels erfolgt umschaltbar mit 8x LEDs. Die Parameter des Kompressors sind Threshold, Ratio und Gain. Die Attack- und Release-Zeiten stellen sich programmabhängig automatisch ein. Der Kompressor- Threshold funktioniert wahlweise als hard-knee oder mit der von dbx patentierten Over-Easy Schaltung. Die Anzeige der Gain-Reduction erfolgt mit 8x LEDs.  

Der PeakStopPlus Limiter reagiert mit seinen 2x Stufen äusserst wirkungsvoll und dennoch sehr weich. Im Vergleich zu anderen "Brick-Wall"-Limitern wird der Klirrfaktor minimiert. Dies schützt die Lautsprecher ohne den Klang zu zerstören. Eine LED signalisiert wenn der eingestellte Limiter-Threshold überschritten wird.  

Kanal 1 und 2, sowie 3 und 4 lassen sich bei Stereo-Signalen koppeln, die Bedienung erfolgt dann mit den Reglern des ersten bzw. dritten Kanals. Die Kopplung wird mittels True-RMS-Power Summing realisiert, dies garantiert ein zuverlässiges und doch "musikalisches" Eingreifen in das Signal.
