The included Remo drumheads provide a direct and balanced sound, allowing the kit to be used straight away.
Shell Construction and High-Quality Craftsmanship
The multi-ply poplar wood shells of the New Yorker Kit combine low weight with a warm and full sound. Low-profile Teardrop Mini-Turret lugs reduce tension on the shells and help support their natural sound characteristics.
For precise and reliable tuning, the drums feature True-Pitch tension rods. With 20% more threads per square inch, they allow particularly accurate and stable tuning.
A bass drum mount with a 10.5 mm L-arm provides secure mounting of the rack tom. The set also features a bass drum lifter.
