Der Epiphone Joe Bonamassa ’59 Les Paul Custom Antique Ebony ist eine detailgetreue Hommage an Joe Bonamassas legendäre Gibson Les Paul Custom von 1959 – auch bekannt als „Black Beauty“. Dieses seltene Original, das sich durch eine Zwei-Pickup-Konfiguration, Grover Imperial Mechaniken und ein Bigsby Vibrato auszeichnete, diente als Vorlage für dieses exklusive Signature-Modell.
Das Instrument besitzt einen Korpus und Hals aus Mahagoni, veredelt mit einem edlen Antique Ebony Finish und gealtertem Mehrschicht-Binding an Decke und Rückseite. Der Hals trägt ein 1959 Rounded Medium C-Profil und ist mit einem Ebenholzgriffbrett ausgestattet, das 22 Bünde, Pearloid-Block-Inlays und ein Graph Tech Sattel für exzellente Stimmstabilität bietet. Die klassische Kalamazoo-Style Kopfplatte trägt das Epiphone-Logo sowie das ikonische Custom Split Diamond Inlay.
Für den Sound sorgen zwei ProBucker Custom Humbucker, die mit hochwertigen CTS-Potis verschaltet sind und durch ihre Kombination aus Wärme, Druck und Klarheit überzeugen. Gesteuert wird über zwei Volume- und zwei Tone-Regler. Die goldene Hardware mit LockTone Tune-o-Matic Steg, Bigsby B70 Vibrato und Grover Imperial Mechaniken sorgt für edle Optik und maximale Funktionalität.
