The lightweight double cutaway mahogany body offers excellent access to all 22 medium jumbo frets and delivers a resonant balanced tonal foundation. A set mahogany neck with a slim 60s SlimTaper profile provides fast comfortable playability. The rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays completes the traditional SG look and feel.Tone and hardware
Two Epiphone P-90 PRO soapbar single coil pickups produce the signature SG tone with strong midrange presence and dynamic response. From sparkling cleans to gritty overdrive the Epiphone SG Special P-90 Cherry Red delivers classic vintage bite. Independent volume and tone controls for each pickup and a three way toggle switch offer flexible sound shaping. The Lightning Bar compensated wraparound bridge enhances sustain and attack while a Graph Tech nut and Epiphone Deluxe tuners with ivory buttons ensure tuning stability.
