Die RG470DXW verfügt über einen Wizard III Ahorn Hals, ein Jatoba Griffbrett und einen Meranti Korpus. Außerdem ist die Gitarre mit Quantum H-S-H Tonabnehmern und einem Edge-Zero II Tremolo Steg ausgestattet.
