Der Coyote ist ein außergewöhnliches Octave-Fuzz-Pedal, das auf einer lange vergessenen Schaltung basiert und mit nur einem Regler drei eigenständige Klangwelten vereint: Swell, Fuzz und Octave. Inspiriert vom extrem seltenen Moonrock Fuzz des amerikanischen Tüftlers Glenn S. Wyllie, verbindet dieses Pedal Boutique-Charakter mit innovativer Klangformung. Der ungewöhnliche Einsatz eines Transformators als induktives Element prägt das Verhalten der Fuzz-Stufe und sorgt für eine einzigartige Dynamik sowie eine deutlich differenzierte Klangstruktur im Vergleich zu klassischen Fuzz-Designs.
Der zentrale Swell / Fuzz / Octave-Regler ermöglicht fließende Übergänge zwischen den Klangbereichen. Links entstehen anschwellende, fast rückwärts wirkende Swell-Sounds, in der Mittelstellung liefert das Pedal einen druckvollen, mittigen Fuzz, und rechts entfaltet sich ein aggressiver Octave-Up-Sound mit markanten Obertönen.
