Der Whitey Tighty Compressor ist JHS Pedals Version des klassischen Effekts, den man angeschaltet nicht hört, dafür aber schmerzlich vermisst, wenn er ausgeschaltet ist. Der Whitey Tighty ist so simpel gehalten, dass er deinem Setup und deinem Sound nie im Weg steht, durch das kompakte Mini-Format lässt er sich außerdem problemlos in jedes Pedalboard integrieren. Durch die Möglichkeit Kompression und Clean Signal stufenlos zu mischen hat jeder die Chance seinen perfekten Sound zu finden. Das Pedal arbeitet mit drei intuitiven Regelmöglichkeiten für Volume, Compression und Blend. Mit dem Volume-Regler lässt sich das Level auf Unity Gain einstellen oder leicht boosten, um den wahrgenommenen Verlust durch die Kompression auszugleichen. Der Compression-Regler regelt die Stärke der Kompression von einer subtilen 'Glättung' des Signals bis zu einem ansprechenden Squash, der sich perfekt für Country, Blues, Pop und Rock eignet. Über den Blend-Regler kann man das Verhältnis aus Clean Signal und komprimiertem Signal einzustellen.
