Korg kombiniert hier die Essenz eines Samplers mit dem Workflow eines Step-Sequenzers. 16 anschlagdynamische Trigger Pads, ein 64-Step-Sequencer mit bis zu 24 Modulationssequenzen pro Pattern, drei Filtertypen (Tiefpass, Hochpass, Bandpass) und insgesamt 70 interne Effekte sorgen für ein breites Klangspektrum. Damit wird der Übergang von Hardware zu DAW nahtlos. Dank MIDI I/O, USB und Sync In/Out lässt sich die Electribe auch problemlos in größere Setups einbinden.
