Dreadnought Power Meets Modern Finesse
The Martin DC-13E Modern combines the full tonal character of a classic Dreadnought with modern comfort and stylish accents. For players looking for a guitar with powerful projection and easy playability all the way up the neck, this model offers the perfect blend of tradition and innovation.
The solid spruce top provides clear highs and a dynamic response, while the Koa Fine Veneer back and sides add warmth, depth and a refined, overtone-rich tonal character. The scalloped X-bracing enhances resonance and gives the top greater flexibility, making the instrument equally well suited to gentle fingerpicking and powerful strumming.
Thanks to the cutaway, players have unrestricted access to the upper frets – ideal for modern playing styles and solos. The Performing Artist neck with High Performance Taper sits comfortably in the hand and enables smooth playing across the entire fingerboard. Visually, the DC-13E impresses with clean lines, a gloss-finished top and stylish details such as white binding, classic Diamond inlays and Ratio® Open Gear tuners.
The integrated Martin E-1 electronics with built-in tuner provide stage-ready sound and intuitive operation. Including a Softshell Case, the guitar is ready to go straight away – whether at home, in the studio or on stage.
