Moog Minitaur is a compact analog bass synthesizer from the Taurus family focused on subharmonic bass generation. The design prioritizes immediate hands-on control and integrates seamlessly into both performance-based and computer-based music workflows.Sound generation and control
The sound engine is built around two VCOs with sawtooth and square waveforms and a dedicated oscillator mixer. The Moog ladder filter is voiced for authentic Taurus character and is supported by two Minimoog-style ADSR envelopes. An LFO modulates VCO and VCF with MIDI clock synchronization, while full sound generation can be controlled via MIDI.Connectivity and enclosure
USB and MIDI DIN connections support modern studio integration, complemented by analog control inputs for pitch, filter, volume, and gate. An audio input allows external signals to be processed through the filter and mixer section.
