The PRS S2 Special Semi-Hollow Reclaimed Limited Edition blends hand-selected reclaimed woods, expert craftsmanship, and stunning tonal flexibility into a truly unique instrument. Each guitar is one of a kind – the Peroba Rosa reclaimed top features natural marks, nail holes and color variations, making every piece visually distinct. The semi-hollow mahogany body adds airy resonance and warmth to the tone, creating a lively, dynamic response.
Reclaimed tonewoods & craftsmanship
The Cuban mahogany neck and Guaribu Preto fingerboard come from salvaged architectural materials, giving each guitar a piece of history. Finished in a natural satin nitro coat, the wood’s past remains visible and tangible. Combined with classic PRS Birds inlays and elegant detailing, this model stands out as a sustainable work of art.
HSS pickup configuration – 12 versatile tones
The HSS layout features two 58/15 LT humbuckers and one Narrowfield middle pickup, offering twelve distinct tones via the 5-way switch and two mini coil-tap toggles. From articulate cleans to rich rock tones, this setup delivers exceptional dynamic range, balance and clarity across all registers.
Premium hardware & feel
The PRS patented tremolo system provides smooth vibrato and tuning precision, supported by Phase III locking tuners for stability. With its Pattern Regular neck, 22 frets, and a 25" scale, the S2 Special offers familiar comfort and modern precision. A nickel hardware finish and Birds inlays complete this elegant limited edition.
