Roger Sadowsky hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht ein bereits sehr erfolgreiches Bass-Design noch weiter zu verbessern, indem er eine Reihe von Detailverbesserungen vornahm. Zusammen mit der von ihm entwickelten Elektronik hat er es geschafft, den bekannten P/J-Bass-Sound auf ein neues Level zu heben, so dass man heute von einem typischen Sadowsky Tone sprechen kann: Niemals harsch klingend, mit tiefen, definierten, keinesfalls dumpfen Bässen, präsenten, jedoch nicht aufdringlichen Mitten sowie süßen und luftigen Höhen. Alle Merkmale dieses modernen Bass-Sounds findet man auch bei den 21-Fret Hybrid P/J Bässen der MetroExpress Serie. Alle Bässe haben ein Gewicht von ca. 3,8 kg und sind damit auch für Bassisten interessant, die neben einem modernen Bass-Sound auch eine leichtgewichtige Lösung für die Bühne suchen.

Diese fünfsaitige Version des Sadowsky Hybrid P/J Basses in einem Hochglanz Solid Olympic White High Polish Finish besitzt ein Griffbrett aus Morado - auch als Pau Ferro bekannt - und ist in dieser Farbkombination mit einem Tortoise Pickguard ausgestattet.
