Let's Play Ukulele – Beginners Workshop on December 4, 2026
On Friday, December 4, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM, the focus will be on the fundamentals of ukulele playing. During the "Let's Play Ukulele" workshop, participants will learn simple chords, different strumming patterns and essential playing techniques. Using well-known songs, Daniel Schusterbauer will demonstrate step by step how to accompany music on the ukulele. No previous musical experience is required.
Let's Play Ukulele Xmas Special on December 5, 2026
On Saturday, December 5, 2026, from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, Christmas music takes center stage. The "Let's Play Ukulele Xmas Special" is designed for adults and young people aged approximately 12 and older. It is suitable for complete beginners as well as participants with some previous ukulele experience. Together, participants will learn to play popular Christmas songs using simple chords, rhythmic strumming patterns and basic fingerpicking techniques. This festive workshop combines practical musical exercises with the joy of playing Christmas music together.
Learn Ukulele with an Experienced Musician and Instructor
Daniel Schusterbauer is a professional musician, music book author and experienced workshop instructor. He received his musical education at the Schule für Rockgitarre in Frankfurt am Main and the Guitar Institute of Technology in Los Angeles. His established "Let's Play Ukulele" teaching concept combines easy-to-understand explanations, practical exercises and the enjoyment of making music together.

Both workshops take place at Zoundhouse Dresden. The participation fee is €39.00 per person for each workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring their own ukulele. If you do not own an instrument yet, ukuleles are available to borrow or purchase on site.
